  • Radamés’ health condition is serious and has not improved.
  • The Blumenau Chamber Orchestra (SC), conducted by Norton Morrozowicz, touring Brazilian cities, performs in Rio de Janeiro, at Sala Cecília Meireles, on 05/08, performing the Concerto for Orchestra of strings (1971/73) by Radamés Gnattali.
  • On May 29, guitarist Raphael Rabello presents, at Sala Cecília Meirelles (RJ), an exclusive program with compositions and arrangements by Radamés Gnattali. Participating as guest musicians are bassist Horondino Silva (Dininho) and pianist Sonia Maira Vieira.
  • The Visom label launches the elepê Raphael Rabello interpreta Radamés Gnattaliwith the works Brasiliana nº 13 (1983), Tocata em ritmo de samba I (1950) e Tocata em ritmo de samba II (1981), Dança Brasileira (1958) e os Estudos I, V e VII(1967).



  • Funarte/BASF launches the elepê Radamés Gnattali e Waldemar Henrique,, presenting, by Radames, the Concerto para bandolim e orquestra de cordas (1985), with solo by Joel Nascimento, and the Suíte antiga para cordas (1973), both with the Blumenau Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Norton Morozowicz.
  • The guitarist Turíbio Santos, in concerts held in France, England and Portugal, performs the Pequena suite for guitar that Radamés dedicates to him, in 1985 In 1989, Turíbio recorded the work for PR Discos, Rio de Janeiro. This may have been the last original work composed by Radamés, as it is the most recent title in the composer’s private archive.
