  • Radamés turns 20.
In 1926, at the age of 20, Radamés composed Batuque, for piano solo. His oldest concert work, in his archive.

 

  • Maria Terezinha, the youngest of the five Gnattali brothers, to whom Radamés dedicates the Toccata for piano in 1944.

  • Back in Porto Alegre, after the success of his concerts in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Radamés joined the Henrique Oswald Quartet as a violist, together with the brothers Sotero and Luiz Cosme (violins) and Carlos Kromer (cello).

  • Rádio Mayrink Veiga is founded, in Rio de Janeiro, where Radamés performs intensely as a concert and popular music pianist.
  • Washington Luís is elected president of Brazil, ruling until October 24, 1930. He was the last president of the so-called Old Republic.
