O Negrinho do Patoreio (bailado), for grand orchestra, started in the radio show “Ondas e estrelas”, promoted by the National Radio in 1960. Produced by Sérgio Vasconcelos and direct transmition from Sala Leopoldo Miguês, at the Music School from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), the ballet was performed by the National Radio Synphonic Orchestra, regency by the author. At the same show, Brasiliana Nº 6 (piano concert ), by Radamés Gnattali, regency by maestro Ercole Vareto, with Radamés at the piano.
