Cellist and composer Rog\u00e9rio Duprat joins the movement as the group&#8217;s conductor-arranger.<\/li>\n<li>The song <em>Sabi\u00e1<\/em>, by Ant\u00f4nio Carlos Jobim and Chico Buarque de Holanda, wins the <em>III International Song Festival<\/em>, in Rio de Janeiro.<\/li>\n<li>In S\u00e3o Paulo, Chico Buarque&#8217;s play <em>Roda Viva<\/em>, directed by Jos\u00e9 Celso Martinez Correa, is violently attacked by the extreme right-wing group CCC (Communist Hunting Command).
