{"id":8267,"date":"2022-04-05T19:29:27","date_gmt":"2022-04-05T19:29:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radamesgnattali.com.br\/linha-do-tempo-radam\/1943\/"},"modified":"2022-10-26T19:37:09","modified_gmt":"2022-10-26T19:37:09","slug":"ano-1943","status":"publish","type":"linha-do-tempo-radam","link":"https:\/\/radamesgnattali.com.br\/en\/linha-do-tempo-radam\/ano-1943\/","title":{"rendered":"1943"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>After the death of maestro Alexandre Gnattali, in 1942, his wife Ad\u00e9lia and their children, A\u00edda, Alexandre and Maria Terezinha, left Porto Alegre and moved permanently to Rio de Janeiro.<\/li>\n<li>At 9:35 pm on January 6, Radio Nacional<em> premiered<\/em> the program <strong><br \/>\n  <em>A Million Melodies<\/em><br \/>\n<\/strong><em>with <\/em>the sponsorship of <em>Coca-Cola Refrescos S.A.<\/em> <strong>[1]<\/strong><em>. <\/em>Radam\u00e9s is invited to assume the musical direction of the program, acting as pianist, arranger and conductor of the orchestra. Initially created to launch the soft drink in Brazil, the program, hosted by Jos\u00e9 Mauro, has been on the air for 14 years. To meet the diversity of repertoire required by the new program, Radam\u00e9s expands the house orchestra to the dimension of a symphony; he completes the woodwind, brass, saxophones, and bowed strings suits, and introduces the harp, celesta, and timpani. In the repertoire, the<strong> <em>Concerto No. 2 for piano and orchestra <\/em><\/strong><em>(1936)<\/em>, by Radam\u00e9s Gnattali.
