Porto Alegre, 1937.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>Radam\u00e9s turns 30 years old.<\/li>\n<li>On September 12, <em><strong>PRE-8<\/strong>, <strong>SociedadeR\u00e1dio<\/strong><strong>Nacional <\/strong><\/em>do Rio de Janeiro, is inaugurated. Radam\u00e9s was the orchestra&#8217;s pianist and Simon Boutman conducted the orchestra. In the background, on drums, Luciano Perrone. One can see that the orchestra had a considerable percussion set, with timpani, gong, vibraphone, and drums.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Radam\u00e9s is responsible for the arrangements and musical direction of the revue in two acts and 40 paintings, <strong><em>Parada das Maravilhas <\/em><\/strong> [2]<em>, <\/em>staged at the Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro on October 10 and 18. Read more at <em>Music on Stage &gt; theater\/dance<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>The Victor label releases Radam\u00e9s&#8217; choro <strong><br \/>\n  <em>Amoroso<\/em><br \/>\n<\/strong> and waltzes <strong><br \/>\n  <em>Two in the Morning<\/em><br \/>\n<\/strong>, <strong><br \/>\n  <em>Springtime of Love<\/em><br \/>\n<\/strong>, <strong><br \/>\n  <em>Zeli<\/em><br \/>\n<\/strong> e <strong><br \/>\n  <em>Remembering the past<\/em><br \/>\n  <em>.<\/em><br \/>\n<\/strong> all tracks with the Victor Typical Orchestra.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Radam\u00e9s composes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Concerto No. 2 for piano and orchestra<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Legend and Choro for string quartet<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><br \/>\n  <em>Rhapsody for two pianos and jazz <\/em><br \/>\n<\/strong>(incomplete) <strong>[3]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><em><br \/>\n  <strong>Waltz, Modinha and Jongo <\/strong><br \/>\n<\/em><strong>[4] <\/strong>(Approximate year of composition. Unlocated work, quoted in newspapers of the time, sometimes as <em>Su\u00edte<\/em>, sometimes as <em>Miniaturas <\/em>. In 1940 Radam\u00e9s transcribed this piece for large orchestra with the title <em><br \/>\n  <strong>Three Miniatures &#8211; Waltz, Modinha and Jongo<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Born in Rio de Janeiro, pianist and composer Luizinho E\u00e7a (Luiz Mainzi da Cunha E\u00e7a), to whom Radam\u00e9s dedicates, in the 1960s, the <strong><em>Concerto Carioca n\u00ba 2 <\/em><\/strong>, for piano trio, bass and drums with a large orchestra.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> <\/strong>Oscar Niemeyer and L\u00facio Costa design the headquarters of the Ministry of Education and Health, in Rio de Janeiro.
